Ernest C. Treece

Ernest was born on January 24, 1927 in Union County, IL. to Sula Sinks and Ralph Treece. He married Mary Treece on March 5, 1949 in Piggott, Arkansas. He served in the United States Navy as Seaman 1st class from January 1945 until August 1946. He was affiliated with St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Kankakee, IL. He was a past member of the American Legion and of the Moose Lodge. He enjoyed gardening, watching television and spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.Ernest is survived by his wife, Mary of Kankakee, IL., one son and daughter-in-law, Terry & Kathy Treece of St. Anne, IL., three daughters and two sons-in-law, Carol & Ron Curwick, of Momence, IL., Linda & Tom Cyrier of Deltona, FL., and Debra Treece of Limestone, IL., six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, one brother and sister-in-law, Doyle & Bonnie Treece of Belleville, IL., one sister-in-law Alice of Maryester, FL., many nieces and nephews.Ernest was preceded in deathy by his parents, one brother, Charles Treece and two sisters, Joe Kee and Norma June Livesay.
