Daniel E. Siebert of Bradley, Illinois, passed away September 8, 2011 at Riverside Medical Center. He was born April 18, 1944 in Pittsburg, IL to Carl and Opal (Eller) Siebert. During the Korean War he served in the Army as a medic. He was employed by Shell Oil as a Chemical Operator for 22 years. Daniel was a member of the Sportsman Club and loved the beach, golfing and spending time with his grandkids.

Surviving Daniel are his daughters, Angela Siebert of Bradley and Kristine Heckman and Bryce Hauch of Bradley. His sons, Jason and Aundrea Siebert of Michigan City, IN, Joshua Siebert and Stacey Beam of Watseka, IL. Three brothers Norman and Jeana Siebert of Vandalia, IL, Kenny Siebert of Granite City, IL, Morris and Anna Mae Siebert of Granite City, IL and his sister Sally and Mick Broaddus of Raymond, IL. Also surviving are 7 grandchildren, Carly Bowman, Zachary Siebert, Jasmine Siebert, Vivian Heckman, Drew Heath Siebert, Christian Siebert and Alana Siebert.

Daniel was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Carl Dean, and his sisters, Lucille Snow and Linda Merritt.

A visitation will be held Saturday, September 10, 2011 at the Hohlt and File Funeral Home, 204 N. Fourth, Vandalia, IL from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and a funeral service at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at the McInturff Cemetery in Hagerstown, IL
