Brad Knitter

Brad Knitter, age 42, of Holland died Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at his home after a courageous battle with cancer.

Brad was a member of Beechwood Reformed Church and the American Legion. He graduated from Hope College and was previously employed at Haworth and more recently at Carini Farms. Brad enjoyed motorcycles, cars, boats and was an avid sports fan.

He is survived by his wife Aris; mother: Lorna and Charles Wray of Shipshewana; Father: Robert and Kay Knitter of Plainwell; brother and sister: Alan Knitter of Concord, NC, Michelle Knitter of Orland Park, IL; mother-in-law: Marlene Barkel of Holland; father-in-law: Charles Kleis of Fennville; brother-in-law: Chad and Natalie Kleis of Rockford, MI; 4 nieces.

A funeral service will be 11:00 am, Saturday, May 30, 2015 at Beechwood Church 895 Ottawa Beach Road in Holland. Reverend Dawn Vagle will be officiating. Burial will be in Lakewood Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 2-4 pm and 5-7 pm, Friday, May 29, 2015 at Dykstra Funeral Home – Northwood Chapel, 295 Douglas Avenue in Holland.
