Shaun Courville, age 33, of Bonfield, passed away on Thursday, January 23, 2014 at home. Shaun was born on October 14, 1980 to Bruce and Linda (Rainey) Courville in Kankakee. He graduated from BBCHS in 1998. He married the former Nicole Meister on July 8, 2006 at Perry Farm in Bradley. The two lived a mile apart as kids and grew up together. He worked as a forklift driver at Reinhart Food Service in University Park, IL. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Shaun is survived by his wife, Nicole; one daughter, Chloe; parents, Linda Courville of Essex and Bruce Courville of Goreville; father and mother-in-law, Lloyd and Deborah Meister of Limestone; two sister-in-laws, Sarah (Eric) Christopher of Bourbonnais and Deanna (Matt) Mill of Limestone; paternal grandparents, Richard and Lucille Courville of St. Anne; maternal grandparents, Robert and Barbara Yung of Bourbonnais and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Shaun’s memorial gathering will be held on Monday, January 27, 2014 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Schreffler Life Story Funeral Home’s Kankakee Chapel. Cremation rites will be accorded.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Shaun Courville Family Benefit at any of Municipal Bank’s locations.
