I was blessed to have Dave as a cousin. It was just in the last 3 years that we reconnected. I always enjoyed talking with Dave and Marie. I am so sorry that we will be out of town for the service. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time. Love, John and Pam and family

Marie - I am so sorry to learn of your loss. I am stunned and so saddened. I will always have the wonderful memories of Ixtapa Mexico. God bless you and your family.

Dave did the plumbing for the tub in my dog grooming salon at my house. He was always willing to help get something done. I know it wasn't the easiest thing he ever did, and there were a couple of unforeseen issues, but in typical unflustered Dave-style, he just handled it like no big deal.

He did so many good deeds, and was so humble, like it was just part of what he did.

Marie & Family,

We were so sorry to hear about Dave and our prayers are with you all, especially Marie.

We will always remember our boating expeditions with Dave and Marie, especially South Haven! We will miss Dave's smile, as he was always smiling.

Dave was an acitve member of the Shoreline Parrot Head Club, helping with the annual Meltdown Party in Muskegon and the annual Seaway Run water station. There were very few events that Dave missed and if he did it was for a good reason, usually work.

Dave and Marie attended the Meeting of the Minds in Key West many years. We had such great times there! They stayed in a B&B right next door to the campground that I stayed at. I remember many adventures, like sitting in the "BIG CHAIR", the sail boat, the green boat, Sloppy Joes, the Casa Marina concert, the street party, Margaritaville, Sunny Jim, Schooner Wharf cigars, and Buffett appearances.

Dave was always around, just ready for anything!

To the family of Dave, you have my sincere sympathy, I had the pleasure of working with Dave in the short time he was an employee at Dykhuis farms and I enjoyed helping him with his CDL training. He was a neat guy to be around and I enjoyed working with him.
