Howard Haney

Howard M. Haney, age 62, of Kankakee, IL. passed away on Sunday, May 20, 2012 at Christ Advocate Hospital in Oak Lawn, IL. Howard was born on August 12, 1949 in Harrisburg, IL. the son of Howard C. and Hazel Haney. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War, worked for 20 years as a forklift operator for Exel in Manteno, IL., enjoyed listening to music, and especially enjoyed making home videos.

Howard is survived by his 5 sons; Joseph, Jeremy, Christopher, Dane, and Aaron, 4 grandchildren; Aaron, Erica, Michael, and Nathan, sisters; Janice (Jim) Lagesse, Judy (Bill) Smothers, and Jeannie (Mike) Howard, and a brother Marty Haney.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

A time of gathering will take place on Thursday, May 24, 2012 from 3pm-8pm at Schreffler Life Story Funeral Homes Kankakee Chapel.
