Florence Rose Diefenbach, age 92, of Bonfield, IL., passed away on Thursday, February 2, 2012 at Riverside Medical Center in Kankakee, IL. She was born on May 29, 1919 in Pilot township the daughter of Louis W. and Anna M. Diefenbach. Florence Rose was a member of Grand Prairie United Methodist Church in Bonfield, IL. where she played the organ for 60 years, she volunteered at Riverside Medical Center in Kankakee, IL. for 40 plus years, and for many years she gave piano lessons. She is survived by her brother Warner Diefenbach of Bonfield, IL. and was preceded in death by her parents.
A time of gathering will take place on Saturday, February 4th, 2012 from 10am until the time of services at 11am at Grand Prairie United Methodist Church in Bonfield, IL.
In lieu of flowers memorials to the church would be appreciated.
