Sandra Reyes, 63, of Kankakee, IL. Passed away on Saturday, January 28, 2012. Sandra was born on August 26, 1948 to Lawrence and Darlene (Overacker) Cote. She married Fernando Reyes in 1975. Mrs. Reyes worked at Shapiro Developmental Center as a Mental Health Tech for 35 years. She was a faithful member to the Limestone Community Church of the Nazarene. Sandra loved spending time with her family.
Surviving are her husband; Fernando Reyes of Kankakee,four children; Ricardo (Melissa) Reyes of Bradley, IL., Roberto Reyes, Angela Reyes, and Melissa Reyes all of Kankakee, IL., two grandchildren; Matthew and Gabriella Reyes of Bradley, IL., one sister; Linda Samuels of Kankakee, IL., one nephew; Daniel (Shirlmika) Willis of Kankakee, IL. and her parents; Lawrence and Darlene.
A gathering for family and friends will be Thursday, February 2, 2012 from 3 p.m.-7 p.m. at the Kankakee Chapel of the Schreffler Life Story Funeral Homes. Funeral will take place Friday, February 3, 2012 from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. at the Limestone Community Church of the Nazarene. Burial will take place following the services at Memorial Gardens in Kankakee, IL.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Limestone Community Church of the Nazarene.
