I have very fond memories of Uncle Stan as my godfather and my father's closest brother. Those memories include visits at the farm watching him milk the dairy cows and process the milk, playing in the hay "mow" with his children, our cousins, and enjoying the wonderful dinners Aunt Theresa made.

When Stan and Theresa and family would visit Vermontville us kids would sit where we could get a clear view of of the road up the hill and, hopefully, be the first to spot them and start yelling "they're here, they're at the top of the hill"!!!

Years later Stan gave me and my wife Pam carvings, lovingly detailed and painted (including one with a red nose!), of reindeer for our Christmas decorations. Our little girls, Jessica, Alison and Rebecca always favored them and loved playing with them. We still have them and will treasure them as a memory of Uncle Stan.

I'm very sorry to hear of Stan's death. I have such fond memories of him, Theresa and their family. Pam and I send sympathies and condolences to Theresa and our cousins and wish we could be there to personally express them.

Uncle Stanley was my godfather, and I will always remember his warm, welcoming smile. This past August, at my brother Jason's wedding, Aunt Theresa and I were poking at him to get out on the dance floor - so he finally gave in....

Watching them dance together is a beautiful memory I will always cherish.

God Bless and Guide his entire family during this time of loss.
