Rosemary Shear

Rosemary was born on April 30, 1924 in Kankakee, IL. the daughter of Telesphore and Desneiges Audette. She retired in 1986 after 14 years of service at Bradley Bourbonnais Community High School. Rosemary was a longtime member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bradley, IL., a member of the Manteno Sportsmen Club where she also volunteered every Thursday, a member of the Kankakee County Seniors, enjoyed playing Euchre, and she loved to bake, she was always cooking something. Rosemary is survived by her daughters; Alice (Thomas) Mitchell of Kankakee, IL. and Debra (Darrell) Griffin of Bourbonnais, IL., step-children; Richard Shear, Tanya Brouillet, Tricia Henderson, Joannie Alvey, and Michael Shear grandchildren; Steve Oderwald of California, Crystal (Rod) Goodall of Bourbonnais, IL., Candice Bourassa of Lockport, IL., Jennifer (Kevin) Schroeder of Chicago, IL., and Matthew Morel of Bourbonnais, IL., great-grandchildren; Alyssa, Brooke, Gabriella, and Mikayla Goodall, Hunter and Cameron Bourassa, and Emma and Benjamin Schroeder, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Russell Shear, and a sister Annette Stutz.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 5th, 2011 from 4pm-8pm at Schreffler Life Story Funeral Homes Bourbonnais Chapel.

A funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday, October 6th, 2011 at 10am at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bradley, IL.
