Marcella Hubbard

Marcella Hubbard, age 89, passed away on June 28, 2008 in Tucson, Arizona. She was born on march 3, 1919 in Kankakee, Illinois to Arthur and Ida (Leveque) Miner. She married Carl Hubbard on September 21, 1939 in Kankakee, Illinois. Marcella was the head cook for the Kankakee School District for 30 years. She was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church where she was also a choir member. Marcella also enjoyed camping, crossword puzzles, and collecting teddy bears. She is survived by one daughter; Tina Keown of Tucson, Arizona, five grandchildren; Alan (Richard Martinez) Keown of Tucson, Arizona, April Keown of Tucson, Arizona, Timothy (Cathy) Keown of St. Anne, Illinois, Heather (Christopher) Karrker of Aroma Park, Illinois, and Christopher (Elena) Keown of Tucson, Arizona, 10 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Robert Miner and Ashton Miner; and one sister Lucille O'Donnell.
