We thought the world of Rose. We met her in 2005 when she established the Darrell H. and Rosaline M. Smith Fund to honor Darrell, her late husband's love of music. It provides scholarship awards to music students. She was the sweetest lady, and we thoroughly enjoyed our meetings with her. She brightened our day and we will miss her calls.
