.Eva Foster Mac Kinnon, age 97 of Holland, formerly of Long Island, NY, died Wednesday, February 25, 2015.

Eva was born in New York City and was employed for 20 years by the New York Times. Along with working at a law firm on Long Island, she worked in the AV department at Wheatley High School in Old Westbury, NY where she retired. In 2006 she moved to Holland and attended Zion Lutheran Church. Eva was an avid gardener and enjoyed reading.

In 1969 she lost her husband Ken after 28 years of marriage. She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Madeleine Foster and June Wylie.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Bob Van Ark of Holland; grandchildren, Rob and Katie Van Ark of Holland, Elicia and Alex Nevarez of Wyoming, Kenny Van Ark of Kalamazoo, great grandchildren, Jane Van Ark and Alice Van Ark; brother, Edward and Lois Foster of Altoona, FL, niece and nephew, Jim and Lynn Wylie of Hauppage, NY, and Madeline and Bruce Kaplan of Simsbury, CT, as well as several great nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Friday March 6,2015,11:00AM at Zion Lutheran Church, 77 West 32nd St. with Rev. Ryan Winningham officiating. Friends may call on the family Thursday, March 5,2015, 2-4 and 6-8 at the Mulder Chapel, Dykstra Funeral Homes, 188 West 32nd St. Memorial gifts may be given to Hospice of Holland.
