David De Kraker, age 67, of Holland, passed away Saturday, January 31, 2015 at Holland Hospital.
Dave had been employed by General Electric and later retired from Herman Miller.
He served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War, from 1966-1970.
Dave was preceded in death by his parents, Marinus and Anna (Grabofski) De Kraker.
He is survived by his wife, Kris, of 43 years; children, Amy and Mike Cannady of Grand Haven and Adam De Kraker and Peter Wu of Brooklyn, NY; 2 granddaughters, Hallie Cannady and Tatum Cannady; sisters, Karla and Morrison Brown of Cortez, CO and Linda and Jim Vandewege of Holland; several in-laws, nephews, nieces, and cousins.
Memorial services will be 1 pm Tuesday, February 3, at the Dykstra Funeral Home-Northwood Chapel 295 Douglas Avenue, with Rev. Jodi Baron officiating.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
