Earl R. Borlace age 93 of Holland died Thursday, January 15, 2015.
Earl was born in Negaunee, MI. and served in the U.S. Navy during ww11.
He taught school in the Holland Public Schools from 1948 to 1963 where served as a teacher, counselor and Principal.
He was a longtime member of First Presbyterian Church.
Earl was preceded in death by a son Jim in 1989 as well as his wife of 67 years, Aileen in 2010.
Earl is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Kay and Larry Briggance of Holland, grandchildren, Kaarina and Brad Raffenaud of Zeeland, Bram Briggance of Alameda, Calif., 6 great grandchildren; Ian, Benjamin, Elijah, Julia, Ramona, and Scout as well as a nephew Bob Borlace of Negaunee., MI.
Following cremation a graveside service will be held at Pilgrim Home Cemetery.
An open house to celebrate Earl’s life will be held at a later date.
Memorial gifts in Earl’s memory may be given to First Presbyterian Church of Holland or Salvation Army of Holland.
