Euphremia Frances Morris, 103, of Kankakee, passed away in Indianapolis, IND, October 19, 2014. She was born the daughter of Ivan and Carrie Shreffler in Waterloo, IA August 6, 1911. On June 6, 1933 in Kankakee she married O. Lee Morris in Kankakee, he passed away December 13, 1988.
Mrs. Morris was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church since 1925, a member of the Easter Star in Ottawa and a member of the United Methodist Women.
She is survived by her son James Morris of Indianapolis, IND; sister Irene Mannesier of Clearwater, FL; daughter in law; Jean Daniel of Indianapolis, IND; 4 grandchildren: Tim Morris and family, Diana (Jimmy) Stephens, Richard Morris and Brandon (Crystal) Morris; 9 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
Euphremia is preceded in death by her husband, son and daughter in law Robert (Phyllis) Morris and brother in law Ray Mannesier.
A time for family and friends to gather will be Thursday, October 23, 2014 from 12:30 until the 1pm funeral service at the Kankakee Chapel of the Schreffler Life Story Funeral Homes.
