Brian Driscoll

Brian Driscoll, age 71, lost his battle with cancer and passed away peacefully on October 6, 2014 at his home, with his family and friends by his side. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Edna LaVaughn Driscoll.

Brian survived by his wife, Juanita (Janie), and children, James (Lisa) and Mike (Sue) Driscoll. He is also survived by his step-children, Walter (Hani) Miller, Paul Miller, Michelle (Alex) Bergman; grandchildren, Erica, David, Drew, Duncan, Kameron, Kayden, Ryan, Luke, Tayler, and James; brothers, James and Lloyd John; and aunts, Pauline Kolean and Mabel Stahel. Brian is also survived by his children’s mother, Margo Driscoll.

Brian retired from Hydro Aluminum after 40 years. He was hired when Hydro was known as Bohn Aluminum. He also worked his 40 acre blueberry farm, which he loved and always said was a hobby, not a job. He loved the outdoors.

The family would like to thank Hospice of Holland for their loving care and compassion.

A memorial visitation will take place Friday, October 10 at 10:00 am at Dykstra Funeral Home – Northwood Chapel; 295 Douglas Ave, with a memorial service following at 11:00 am.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to Hospice of Holland in Brian’s memory.
