Carson Neldon, age 72, of Holland, passed away, Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at Tendercare Health Center.
Carson was employed at BASF/Flint Ink and was a volunteer Firefighter for Park Township Fire Department for 34 years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and camping. He was preceded in death by infant daughter Laura Lee, granddaughter Alysha Stoike, his sister Shirley Pena and his brother Doyle Neldon.
He is survived by his wife Trudy; children, Sandra and Tim Stoike of Holland and Tod and Shelly Neldon of Allegan; 6 grandchildren,
Ryan and Lori Stoike, Erika Stoike, Meghann Stoike, Culver Neldon, Bristyn Neldon, and Silas Neldon; brother,Gene Neldon of West Virginia; brother and sister-in-laws, aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, and cousins.
Visitation will be 6-8 pm Friday, September 26, at Dykstra Funeral Home–Northwood Chapel, 295 Douglas Avenue, Holland, Michigan. A private family service will be held Saturday. Reverend Jerry Van Kuiken will be officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Holland or Harbor Humane Society.
