Susan McBride

Susan Kay McBride, of Holland, Michigan, passed away August 5, 2014. She was 67.

Susan is survived by her sister, Lynn (John) Probst; sister, Kathleen McBride; brother, Mel (Vicki) McBride; sister, Barbara McBride; and brother, Victor (Vickie) McBride. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews; close friends, Roger and Marianne Simonson, Barbara Forman, and Bob Kouw; work family, Phil Rybicki, Jan McKenzie, and Jessica Mitchell; supervisor, Mark Bacial; close friends at Costco and personal friend, Julie Taylor.

Susan was a master gardener and loved the outdoors, camping, cooking and traveling. Some of her favorite places to visit were Luther, Michigan; Baldwin, Michigan; and Colorado. Susan was proud of her work as a manager at the Carousel Mountain ski area and as the dining room manager at the Macatawa Bay Yacht Club.

A memorial visitation will take place Friday, August 8 at Dykstra Funeral Home – Mulder Chapel; 188 West 32nd St – from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, with a memorial service to follow.
