Wolfgang Ludge

Wolfgang Alfred Gerhard Ludge, 71, of Grand Rapids Michigan, died on Wednesday, October 31, 2018. He was a loving husband and devoted Father.

Wolfgang was born June 2, 1947 in Peine, Germany. He attended Comstock Park High School, class of 1966, and served in USMC from 1966 to 1974 doing 2 tours in Vietnam. He loved to tinker with all things Electronic, Enjoyed Camping, computers, Sci-fi movies and Gummy Bears. Wolfgang is Preceded in death by Father Gustav Ludge(Jul 16, 2000), Mother Lisa Ludge(Sept 18, 2018), Grand Daughter Alexandria Castillo(1992). Survived by Wife, Janis Ludge, Son Karl Ludge(Rachel) Daughter Lisa Ludge, Brothers Reinhard Ludge(Diane) and Rolf Ludge(Melva), Sisters Karin Viviano and Sigrid Gelock Grandchildren Teresa Castillo(Jessica), John Castillo(Whitney), Alexis Ludge and Blake Ludge, Great Grandchild Malachi Castillo. Wolfgang will also be forever remembered by his numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends. A Memorial Service will take place at 10 AM on Saturday, November 10, 2018, with visitation for one hour prior, at Trinity Reformed Church 1224 Davis Ave Grand Rapids, MI 49504. We will miss his wisdom, smile and laughter. As we remember his stubborn and quiet way of making you feel loved and appreciated.
