William T. Diem

William T. Diem, 64, passed away Sunday February 12, 2017, at All Saints Hospital, Racine.

William was born in Racine, July 20, 1952, son of the late William L. and Gertrude M. (nee:

Koenig) Diem.

William was a graduate of William Horlick High School "Class of 1970." He retired from Twin Disc as a machinist in 2013 after 40 years of service. William “Bill” loved life and it loved him. He enjoyed sailing, motorcycling, camping, and the outdoors……. He was well known for his big booming laugh which brought a smile to all.

More than anything he will be best remembered as a loving father, brother, uncle, and dear friend.

Survivors include his daughter Rachel (Dave) Emerick, special friend Deborah Bedell, sister and brothers, Diane (Thomas) Weill of Gold Canyon, Ariz., Dennis (Peggy) Diem of Hayward, Patrick (Mary Jo) Diem of Racine; his nieces and nephews, Kristine (Kelly) Woelber, Laura Doyen and Margaret (Brett) Butterbrodt, Stephanie Diem (Aaron Sontag), Trevor Diem, Bridget (Max Garnier Villarreal) Garnier-Diem and Brennan Diem; brother-in-law Robert Doyen, great-nephews, D. J. Woelber, Brogan Butterbrodt,and great-nieces Gretta Woelber, Hazel Garnier-Diem; other relatives and many dear friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Arleen Diem Doyen and his brother Michael Diem

A Memorial Service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday February 18, 2017, at 1:00 p.m. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the funeral home on Saturday from 12;00 p.m. until time of service.
