Werner Horst Brandenburg
Passed away peacefully on June 14, 2013. Beloved husband of Marlene L. (nee Pumpian). Dear father of Victoria (William) Strohfeldt, Danielle (John) Kowalski, Lesley (Ben) Vogel and Adam Brandenburg. Fond brother of Frederick (Rose) and Kurt (Sue). Loving son of the late Otto and Frances. Further survived by 14 grandchildren, nieces, nephews other relatives and many friends.
Werner was a lifelong resident of Milwaukee. He was a graduate of Riverside H.S. and an active member of the “Infamous River Rats”. On May 20, 1961 Werner hit the jackpot when he married Marlene. After graduating from UW-Milwaukee, Werner spent many of his working years as a stockbroker with Piper Jaffray. Werner especially enjoyed spending time with his family, reading any newspaper or book he could get his hands on and spending time with his many friends at the Milwaukee Athletic Club.
All of us will miss the ways that Werner made each of us feel special.
Visitation Tuesday June 18 at the Funeral Home from 9 AM until time of the complete funeral service at 12 noon.
Private Interment.
In lieu of flowers memorials to the charity of your choice appreciated.
