Wayne Lang

Loving husband, father and grandfather passed away on Wednesday, July 19, 2017. Age 88. Wayne was born in Comstock, MI on May 26, 1929, the son of the late Cecil and Mildred (Wright) Lang. He loved spending time with his family, going on vacations and going out to eat. He was an avid Detroit Lions and Detroit Tigers fan. He is survived by his daughter; Donna Lang of Portage; two grandchildren, Kyle Lang and his daughter, Lexus and Megan (Jon) Langdon; one brother, Homer Lang and one sister, Evelyn Geiger; and one sister-in-law and great family friend, Tressa Haynes. He was preceded in death by four brothers and one sister. Friends may visit with the family from 11 a.m. 1 p.m. on Monday, July 24, 2017 at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 S. 9th St., Kalamazoo, MI 49009. The funeral service will follow at 1 p.m., officiated by Rev. James Dyke. Private interment will be in Portage Central Cemetery.
