Wanda Kantz,93,of Mayfield died, Thursday, March 2, 2017.

Wanda was born November 4th, 1923 in Cass County, daughter of Wallace and Esther Ostrom. On November 29th, 1942, She married Charles Kantz at the Mason Baptist Church in Cass County.

She and her husband Charles owned and operated Rennie Lake Resort for many years. She retired from Burwoods manufacturing in 1982. Wanda had also worked at So-Fro Fabrics and Love Inc. Wanda was a member of Life Point Church, formerly Forest Lakes Bible Church, participating in any and all Church activities.

Wanda survived by her children Charlene (Robert) Clark; Floyd (Sally) Kantz; Karen Bennett (Bob St. John); Michael (Marsha) Kantz; Charles (Carol) Kantz; 16 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren; and many great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by many who she helped raise and have called her grandma.

Wanda was preceded in death by her husband Charles Kantz; daughter Andrea Tobias; son Larry Dean Kantz, her parents Wallace and Esther (Sensenbaugh) Ostrom; brothers Jesse; Henry; Eugene; Phillip; Clare; John; sisters Ilean Becraft and Mary Haslett Olson.

A Life Celebration and luncheon will be held 1pm Saturday, March 4, 2017 at LifePoint Church of Traverse City.
