Vivian Anderson (Johnson)

Mrs. Vivian M. Anderson (Johnson), age 94, passed away Saturday, May 18, 2013. She was born in Hazen, ND on January 24, 1919 to C. Elmer & Stella (Koontz) Larson and married Alex Anderson and then Rubin Johnson following Alex's passing. Mrs. Anderson had been employed as an Executive Secretary at General Motors for 33 years until retiring in 1976. She was a former member of Faith Lutheran Church in Whitehall. Vi loved to play cards, read, quilt and needlework. She was an avid golfer until she was 90 but was always a Detroit Tiger and Redwings fan.

Stepchildren, Curtiss (Sharon) Johnson, Milicent Major, Evelyn (Doug) Anderson, Ida Mae (Warner) Northrup, Janet (Skip) Milender, Sally (Fred) Jorgenson; special niece, Kathy Harris; adopted niece, Mary Murray; She was much loved by many step grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by both her husbands, and sisters, Glee Bushner & Maxine Lapiniski.
