Passed away peacefully Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at his home surrounded by his family. Truman was born May 4, 1947 in Walnut Ridge Arkansas, the son of the late Samuel and Lola McPike. He had lived in the Bloomingdale area since 1975 before moving to South Haven in 2006. Truman was a truly hard working man. He was a very accomplished man and had founded McPike's Auto in Bloomingdale. He loved his motorcycle and was a collector of many things. Truman loved people but more than anything he cherished time spent with his family. Surviving is his wife of 52 years Sylvia; children, Craig (Karen), Terry (Angie), Melisa (Brian) Covey, Toni (Christa); grandchildren, Shaylon, Brandon, Alicia (Ronnie), Courtney (Mark), Dustin, Ashley, Autumn, Tyler, Greg, Danielle, Trace, Zayne, Lauren, Ayden, Kylie, and Breyana; great grandchildren, Nolyn, and Lilly; siblings, Darnell, Lolla, Raymond, Katherine, Patricia, Kenneth, Kyrene, Dennis, Rosetta, Andrew, Ruby, George, Darlene, Diana, Lisa; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Dean and Woodrow, a granddaughter Cassidy Grace. The family will meet friends on Monday, September 23rd, from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM and on Tuesday from 11AM until time of funeral service at 12 PM at the Bangor Chapel, D. L. Miller Funeral Home, www.dmillerfuneralhome.com, Pastor Wayne Davis officiating. Interment will follow in Monks Cemetery.
