Thomas J. Miller

Passed away on Thursday, May 9, 2019 at Rose Arbor Hospice Residence. Age 75. Thomas Joseph Miller was born June 4, 1943, the son of the late Benjamin T. Miller and Margaret Katherine (Nichols) Miller. He worked as a Manufacturing Manager in the Plastics Industry. Following his retirement, he worked as realtor. He was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church. He was married to Cynthia Ann Adams on July 3, 1964. He and Cindy loved animals and raised quarter horses for many years. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed walking on his 20-acre farm, going fishing and spending time on his boat. Tom is survived by his loving wife Cindy and their three children, Thomas J. Miller II, Marganne Michelle Miller and Matthew Benjamin Miller. He was preceded in death by one brother, Harry James Miller. A memorial Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, May 16, 2019 at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 1150 W. Centre Ave., Portage, MI 49024, with Rev. Fr. Bill Jacobs officiating. Friends may visit with the family at the church from 10 a.m. until time of the service. Private internment of cremated remains will take place later in Portage South Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Rose Arbor Hospice Residence or St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church.
