Tadeusz "Tad" Gluchowski

Tad passed away Friday, June 8, 2018 in his home, surrounded by his family. He was born November 7, 1951 in Drohiczyn Poland, son of Lucien and Michalina (Daniluk) Gluchowski. Tad immigrated to the US in 1978, where he met and married Sheryl (Foote). He co-owned and operated S&K Tool & Die Company in Kalamazoo for many years, and worked at Tengam Engineering at the time of his death. Tad enjoyed his family, working, being outside or in his pole barn, auctions, and the company of his many friends. Tad is survived by his wife Sheryl, children Aaron, Michalina and Elizabeth and grandchildren Tristen, Keegan, Aurora, Lochlan and Ezra, and numerous family members in Poland, including siblings Anna and Krzysztof, children Izabela & Rafal, several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Thursday, June 14, 2018, 5-7 PM at Winkel Funeral Home, Otsego and Friday, June 15, 2018, 11 AM-Noon at Northbridge Church at 8824 Douglas Avenue. Funeral service will begin at Noon with the burial and a luncheon immediately following. Gifts in memory of Tad will be divided between his favorite charities.
