SuZanLei Beach

Beach, SueZanLei of Kalamazoo Sue passed away on Friday morning, March 16, 2018 at Rose Arbor Hospice Residence. She was born on December 21, 1937 in Grace Harbor, MI, the daughter of Gerald and Mary (Prentis) Smith. On September 19, 1959, she was married to Arthur P. Beach, who preceded her in death on December 6, 2011. Also preceding her in death were four sisters: Lorraine Brossy, Rose Thompson, Lila Gretz, Maxine Felthoff. Surviving are three children: Candy Beach, Lorie Beach and Mary (Troy) Quakenbush; six grandchildren: Jennifer, Kyle (Laura), Shelbie (Nick), Zackery, Kaylei (Colton) and Bryson; two brothers Arthur (Kathy) Sullivan and Mikel Sullivan; and several nieces and nephews. Friends may visit with Sue's family from 2-5 PM on Sunday, March 18, at Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Comstock Chapel, 6121 King Highway, where a funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, March 19. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to Hospice Care of Southwest Michigan or West Michigan Cancer Center.
