Steven Carl Woloszyk, age 47, of Vicksburg, MI died unexpectedly on Friday, February 23, 2018. His parents were Carl and Kathleen (Provost) Woloszyk of Rogers City, Michigan. Steven's family included his wife, Dianne; three step children; Nathan Thompson (Kristin) of Galesburg, Brandon Thompson (Angie) of Menifee, California and Alyssa Thompson of Vicksburg; Brother; Brian of Grand Rapids; Grandparent, Maxine Provost of Florida; Aunt Diane (Terrence) Sheldon of Avon Park, Florida, and Darlene (Richard) Lewandowski of Posen, MI; one nephew, Joseph; one step-grandchild; Charlie Mae Thompson; and, numerous cousins, aunts, and uncles from the Woloszyk, Provost, and Diane's family. Steven was preceded in death by three of his grandparents, Aunt Jeanette (Duane) Maxwell; cousin Matthew Lewandowski and numerous aunts and uncles. Steven had 15 years of experience in the housing industry as mortgage broker. He was most recently employed for Prime Lending in Portage, MI. He grew up and graduated from Grand Ledge H.S. He completed a baccalaureate degree in Business Administration and a Master's degree in Finance from Western Michigan University. Steven resided in Vicksburg, MI with his wife, Dianne and daughter Alyssa. He was active in various community organizations and sponsorships. Some of the organizations included: Guys Who Give, Thirsty Men flag football, Big Brother/ Big Sisters, Jeff/Valerie Bozell Motorsports, Kalamazoo Wiffleball Diablo team, Has Beens soccer team, Bach Festival, HRI Walk for the Homeless, member of the Knights of Columbus and a constant giver to numerous other charities. His professional interest and involvement included the Greater Area Kalamazoo Realtors, BNI of Kalamazoo, Home Builders of Kalamazoo, Southwest Michigan Professionals Network. He enjoyed backpacking, running, traveling, deer hunting, reading, country living and a great love for the outdoors, family, and friends. Family and friends will gather on Saturday, March 3 at the St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church, 5855 East "W" Avenue, Vicksburg from 9AM-11AM for visitation. A mass of Christian burial will begin at 11AM followed by a luncheon and memory sharing. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be given to the Big Brother/Big Sisters of Kalamazoo or can be made for the wishes of the family at 7976 East U Avenue, Vicksburg, MI 49097. Also, as Steven would always say, "Make it a Great Day".
