Steven Hanson

Steven Michael Hanson, age 35, passed away July17, 2018 at his residence . Steve was born July 13, 1983 in Detroit, Michigan. He is the son of Christian and Loretta (Cross) Hanson. Steve graduated from Vicksburg High School and served in the Army National Guard 101st Division from 2001 to 2007. He received his Bachelor's Degree and his Masters of Business Administration from Davenport College. Steve enjoyed working at the circulation desk at the KVCC Library. Surviving are his parents Christian and Loretta Hanson of Vicksburg; his grandmothers Maryann Cross and Mary Hanson; his beloved dog Jake; several aunts, uncles, cousins and special friends. In accordance with Steve's wishes cremation has taken place. A memorial service to celebrate Steve's life will be held at 3:00PM Saturday July 21st at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Portage Chapel, 411 E. Center Ave. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00PM at the Portage Chapel. Memorials in Steve's memory may be directed to C.S. Mott Children's Hospital in Ann Arbor, MI.
