Sherwood "Woody Winslow, Jr.

Winslow Jr., Sherwood B. (Woody) 4/30/1938 - 1/2/2018 Escondido, California Sherwood B. (Woody) Winslow Jr. died on January 2, 2018 in Escondido, California following a brief illness. He was born April 30, 1938 in Ann Arbor, Michigan, the son of Dr. Sherwood and Constance Winslow and moved to Battle Creek with his family when he was three months old. Woody graduated from Battle Creek Lakeview High School and Western Michigan University. He worked for several years in the insurance industry in Battle Creek prior to becoming a trust officer for banks in Kalamazoo and Grand Rapids. Following his retirement, he resided in Florida before moving in 2016 to California to be near his son's family. Woody is survived by a daughter, Dr. Catherine Winslow of Northville, MI, a sister, Constance Chase of Oro Valley, AZ, three granddaughters, Aubrey Horn, Lila Winslow, and Elle Winslow, six nieces and nephews, and 14 great nieces and nephews. Woody was preceded in death by his parents.
