Shelly Fraze

Fraze, Shelly 11/19/1973 - 7/9/2022 Elberta, Alabama Shelly Lynn Fraze (Martin) age 48 of Elberta, AL formerly of Portage MI passed away unexpectedly on July 9th, 2022. Shelly was born on November 19th, 1973 in Chicago, IL to Robert and Carol (Rogers) Martin. For most of her life, Shelly lived in the Portage area. On November 15th, 2004 Shelly was united in marriage to her husband Wade Fraze and shortly after moved to Alabama where she enjoyed the ocean life. Shelly was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and aunt. Shelly spent most of her adult life as a caregiver. Shelly was beautiful and vibrant who loved to do interior decorating, shopping, landscaping, vacationing, hanging out at the racetrack watching her dad race, and spending time with her family. She was loved and will be dearly missed. Shelly is preceded in death by her mother, Carol (Rogers) Martin. Shelly is survived by her husband, Wade Fraze; children, Chelsea Perjesi and Nicholas (Erin Clayton) Polerecky; grandchildren, Mryiah, Hunter, and Parker Polerecky; father, Robert Martin; siblings, Renee (Patrick) Sehy, Christina (Noah) Fisher, Rebecca (Daniel) Burland; nieces, Julia Sehy, Alyssa Sehy, Kayla Sehy, and Jocelyn Burland; nephews, Aiden Burland, Ashton Fisher, and Nathan Fisher; as well as many loving aunt's, uncle's, cousins, and lifelong friends. Cremation has taken place and a private memorial service will follow at a later date.
