Sharron Wetherbee

Died October 15, 2025. Born October 10, 1943 in Lansing to William H. and Beverly J. Kissel Harris. Early in life she attended Kalamazoo Public Schools and eventually graduated from Three Rivers High School in 1962. From 1963 to 1975 she was married to Raymond Wetherbee. Sharron attended American Beauty Academy and worked as a beautician. She also worked at Bronson Methodist Hospital (1985-1995) and EPC in Mattawan (1996-2011). In her younger years, Sharron enjoyed bowling and softball. For the past 13 years she had lived at Westland Meadows and enjoyed playing cards and bingo in the community room. She looked forward to holidays and Halloween and Thanksgiving were her favorites. Sharron was preceded in death by her parents; her children, Alan and Julie; and a grandson, Alex French. She is survived by her children, Wendy (Nathan) Martens of Galesburg, and Tony (Sarah) Wetherbee of Zeigler, Illinois; eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Also surviving are Sharron's siblings, Tammie VanAvery and Marc (Kayla) Laning. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 19 at 2 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church of Plainwell. The family will receive friends at a reception in the Fellowship Hall following the service. Memorials to the Animal Rescue Project or Centrica Hospice would be appreciated.
