Passed away May 1, 2018. Sandy was born January 15, 1948 in Battle Creek; the daughter of Royce and Ruth M. (Dashine) Gurd. A 1966 graduate of Delton Kellogg High School, Sandy was a Registered Nurse for Bronson Hospital and Battle Creek Health Systems for many years. Sandy loved the outdoors, especially hunting for mushrooms, snowmobiling, fishing, and hunting. She also enjoyed sewing and knitting. Sandy is survived by her son: Tom Sheldon and a grandson: Tommy. Sandy was preceded in death by her parents. A Graveside Service will be conducted Saturday, May 5, 2018, at 2:00 PM at Cedar Creek Cemetery, Pastor Jeff Worden officiating.
