Sandra Kay Miller

S. Kay Miller, born May 12, 1940, the daughter of Meredith and Bernice (Harper) Clark, died Saturday, December 30 in South Carolina. She graduated from Vicksburg High School in 1958 and went on to Michigan State University where she was chosen as a cheerleader in 1960 and 1961. She graduated in 1962 and married Richard Miller in Vicksburg that year. The couple was stationed in many foreign countries on contract with the U.S. Agency for International Development during the 1970s, 80s and 90s including Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Nigeria and Egypt. She leaves a son, Rick Miller; a daughter, Elizabeth (Miller) Roach; grandchildren Meredith and Alex Roach; a sister, Sue Clark Moore, and nephews Scott and Christopher Moore. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard, in 2016. No services have been scheduled. Burial will take place in the Vicksburg cemetery.
