Sam Holton

Went to be with the Lord on May 13, 2013 at Bronson Methodist Hospital, Kalamazoo. She was born January 17, 1937 in Poplar Bluff, MO the daughter of the late Virgil and Lena (King) Trimble. Sam retired from Bronson Hospital as a dialysis technician and she enjoyed antiquing. On June 6, 1980 Sam married the love of her life, James L. Holton, who survives. Also surviving are a son, Richard (Jamie) White of Portage; stepson, James Holton (Kim Saidla) of Sherwood; three step-daughters, Patricia Holton (Jim McKinney) of Kalamazoo, Paula Holton (Gilbert Cote) of Houston, TX, Theresa Holton of Golden, CO; seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and sister, Mary Taylor of Cape Coral, FL. She was preceded in death by 11 brothers and sisters. A memorial Mass will take place Monday, May 20, 2013 at 10:30AM at St. Monica Catholic Church, 534 W. Kilgore, Kalamazoo, with Fr.
