Passed away peacefully Aug. 16, 2018 at the age of 97 in Sarasota Fl. Born May 26, 1921 in Lincoln Park Mi. the daughter of Eugene and Florence Larkin. Ruth earned a masters degree in education from Western Michigan University and taught in the Vicksburg school system for 20 years. She was preceded in death by her husband David Casmir Archie and a son Guy Archie. She is survived by 2 sons, Gary (Beanie) Archie, Greg (Martha) Archie, 1 daughter, Melanie Traveler, 8 grand children and 4 great grand children. Teaching and a love for international travel brought Ruth much satisfaction during her long life.
