Roy received a Marketing degree from the Milwaukee School of Business in 1947. Roy was employed by Massey-Harris from 1943-1960 as an assistant resident inspector and Sales Correspondent. From 1972 until the mid 1980’s Roy worked as a Commission Sales Associate for Cross Manufacturing. He also owned and operated RKS & Associates.

He was a proud member of EAA and Kiwanis of Greater Racine. Roy’s hobbies included sailing, flying, and skiing. His most recent passion was building an airplane with his friends.
