Ronald was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan on December 7, 1942, the son of the late Vernon and Ardith (Wiedmayer) Heath. He attended Western Michigan University and retired from the Upjohn Company after 25 years of service. Ron enjoyed riding motorcycles and was active in the Cycle Conservation Club of Michigan. He also loved old cars and was a member of the Kalamazoo Antique Auto Restorers Club. Ron is survived by his sons, Roger (Christina) and Russell Heath; grandchildren, Megan, Mitchell, Adam, Hayden and Alivia; and siblings, Janalee (Patrick) O'Donughue and Kim (Debi) Heath. A family graveside service was held on Thursday, September 27, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park South. Memorial contributions may be made to the Cure Alzheimer's Fund or Hospice Care of Southwest Michigan (www.hospiceswmi.org). A Celebration of Life gathering is planned for Sunday, October 28, 2018 from 2-5 PM at the Red Arrow VFW Post 1527 located at 1920 E. Kilgore Service Road in Portage.
