Ronald James

James, Ronald 11/20/1967 - 12/26/2018 Kalamazoo, Michigan Ronald (Mohammed) David James passed away on December 26, 2018. Born in Salisbury, Maryland, he is the son of the late Helen and Elwood James. Ronald's service in the United States Air Force brought him to Michigan, where he went on to graduate from Davenport University. His loss will be felt deeply by his two surviving daughters, LaTasha James and Nichole Roberts, their mother Cathy Keast, and his surviving siblings in his home state of Maryland. His family remembers him as: A patron of the arts; obsessed with music and style and art of all kinds. A citizen of the world; deeply proud of his African and Caribbean roots, and equally curious about everybody else. A veteran; with the strong convictions and good manners and humility that comes with it. An intellectual; an avid reader, deep thinker and curious, old soul. The proudest father; boasting about his daughters every chance he could. They hope he knew how much they loved him, too. Rest in Power, As-Salaam-Alaikum
