Roger Williams

Passed away Sunday evening, November 15, 2009. Roger was born June 30, 1960 in Moulton, Alabama the son of Travis and Barbara (Flannagin) Williams. He was a member of the Otsego Moose Lodge and the Gum Springs Baptist Church in Alabama. Roger worked for Lentz Muffler for several years and then later with D&S Auto. He enjoyed camping with friends, fishing, cars, and his dog, Ferby. Roger was preceded in death by his father, Travis Williams; and his grandfather, Talmadge Williams. Surviving are two sons, Mike (Nicole) Williams, Steve (Carrie) Williams; three grandchildren, Paige, Amber, and Andrew; his mother, Barbara (Mike) Wisser; grandparents, Nolon (Trannie) Flannagin, Louise Williams; sisters, Deborah (John) Thomasma, Vicky (George) Oberthaler; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Services will be held 11:00 o'clock Thursday at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Portage Chapel with Rev. Jim Dyke officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Ever-Rest North Cemetery. Friends may meet the family Wednesday evening from 6-8 PM at the Portage Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Otsego Moose Lodge Campground.
