Roger Taylor

Taylor, Roger 4/20/1965 - 2/6/2023 Portage Roger Steven Taylor of Portage passed away February 6, 2023. Roger was born in Battle Creek to Ronald and Julia Taylor on April 20, 1965 and grew up in Augusta. Roger was a loving father and grandpa and loved being around family. He had a great sense of humor and loved cracking jokes. His "inventions" around the house always made us laugh, but they always worked. He was kind-hearted, loving, and would give anyone the shirt off his back. Roger is survived by a son, Roger Steven (Michelle) Taylor, Jr. of Jones, MI that he loved dearly; his first grandchild, Hunter Taylor, who he thought the world of and another grandchild on the way. Roger is also survived by his siblings, Lesa (Les) Rudoff, Brent Stevenson and Gary Stevenson all of White Pigeon, Lori (Dean) Martin of Constantine, Vicki (Keith) Nagel of Augusta and an amazing friend, John (Michelle) Courtier of Portage. He was preceded in death by his parents. A private memorial will be held at a later date. Arrangements by the Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care, Richland Chapel.
