Roger T. Christensen, age 70, passed away Monday, December 12, 2016 at Ridgewood Care Center. Roger was born in Racine, June 27, 1946, son of the late Robert and El-Deane (Nee: Stage) Christensen.

During the Vietnam War he proudly served in the United States Army stationed in Germany. On May 25, 1990 in Racine he was united in marriage to Wendy M Fischer. Roger was employed for thirty-eight years by S.C. Johnson last working as a systems analyst. He served as treasurer with the Franksville Business Association and on the Caledonia Park and Recreation Commission for nine years. He enjoyed flying planes, riding his motorcycle and computers.

He will be dearly missed by his loving wife of twenty-six years, Wendy; his children, Cory (Kerri) Christensen, Doug (Jennifer) Christensen; his stepchildren, Heather (John) Krolikowski, David Roszina (fiancé, Karen Stoll); his grandchildren, Jacob Christensen, Nolan Christensen, Violet, Lillian, and Ivy Krolikowski; brothers, Dale Christensen, Glenn Christensen; mother-in-law, Barbara Fischer; sister-in-law, Teresa (Gildardo) Medina; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Harry Fischer.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 17, 2016, 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home. Interment with Full Military Honors will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Saturday at the funeral home from 9:30 A.M. until time of service at 11:00 A.M. Memorials to the Alzheimer’s Association have been suggested.

Roger’s family extends their sincere gratitude to the staff at Ridgewood Care Center for their loving and compassionate care.
