Roger Mayette

Passed away at his home Wednesday, September 4, 2024, with his family by his side. Roger was born on August 24, 1939, to Phillip and Agnes (Comeau) Mayette, in Manistique, Michigan. Roger adored his family and enjoyed fishing with his friends and family, golfing, and even excelled in bowling, bowling for a 300 game. Roger is survived by his daughters, Kathleen Hass (Dennis), Brenda Lewman; grandchildren, Phillip Hass (Anne Hass), Benjamin Hass (Crystal Hass), Brittni Thomson (Brent Thomson II) Great grandchildren; Brooklyn and Sadie Hass, Ella and Hudson Hass, and Madilyn and Brent Thomson III) and niece and nephew, Scott Mayette and Leslie Atkins. Roger is preceded in passing by his parents; Aggie and Phillip Mayette, Wife, Karen Mayette, brother Jerry Mayette and loving fur members of the family, Big Brutus and Little Lucky. Roger was a member of the Moose Lodge #2694, since 1986. He was also an Eagle member Aerie #3531 since 2010. Roger developed many close friendships from being a member of these clubs. These friendships lead to many golf outings, fishing trips, time together in Florida, and the regular Friday night get together for beers and snacks. Roger also enjoyed the company of his close neighbors who all took care of each other. Roger's wishes were no memorial service to be held.
