Robert Wayne Stinson

Passed away comfortably with the help of Hospice after a long illness of Alzheimer's on 11/28/2019. In 1950 he married Mary Alice Sanborn (deceased) and they had four children: Larry (Cheryl), Mark (deceased), Nancy Brownell (David) and Colleen Munn. He remarried in 1987 to Janet Chamberlain with two children: Gail Inglis (Gordon) and Gregory Chamberlain (Mary). There are 12 Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren. Bob lived at Austin Lake and moved permanently to Florida in 1998. Robert owned Kalamazoo Glass, Inc. and was a member of NGA, AMBUCS, Moose Lodge for 36 years and a life member of the Kalamazoo Elks for 72 years. He enjoyed companionship with his family and friends and was interested in old cars (convertibles), traveling, boating in Michigan and Florida. Also liked music, dancing, singing and attending parties and celebrations. A graveside service will be held at a future date. Donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
