Robert Edward (Ted) Langdon, aged 91, passed into the presence of the Lord on August 22, 2007 at Faith Hospice at Trillium Woods. Son, Philip Kent; daughter, Janet Eileen; and son-in-law, Bill Gravlin, preceded him in death. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife, Lois, after 65 years of marriage. Also mourning him are a son, David (Glenda) Langdon; daughter, Lynne (Bruce) Koshmider, Carol Gravlin and Joy (Gregg) Hillesheim. He is survived by 12 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. Ted served the Lord for many years as a missionary with the Sudan Interior Mission in Nigeria, Africa. Five out of six children were born there. In later years, his pastorates included Perry Baptist Church, Bronson Baptist Church, assistant pastor at Calvary Undenominational and Interim pastor at Grandville Bible Church. A very kind and gentle man, Ted was loved by many people and was instrumental in leading a great number of people to the Lord he loved. He and Lois sang together for many years. His children loved to hear him play the drums, a talent he had honed in his youth as a jazz drummer. Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Saturday, August 25th at the Zaagman Memorial Chapel. Funeral services to be held at Wealthy Park Baptist Church on Sunday, August 26th at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor Ken Young officiating. Memorial contributions to SIM International, Wealthy Park Missionary Fund or Faith Hospice at Trillium Woods would be greatly appreciated. Zaagman Memorial Chapel
