Passed away Friday, April 19, 2019 at his home. Bob was born June 23, 1935 in Chicago, IL the son of William and Irene (Pach) Long and has lived the majority of his life in the Grand Junction area. He enjoyed square dancing, camping, cutting wood, biking, and spending time with family. Surviving are his 2 daughters, Kathy (Renee) Haynes of Kalamazoo, Karen (Mark) Taylor of Grand Junction; 2 grandchildren, Christopher, Starr; 3 sisters, Patricia (Vern) Crawford of South Haven, Judy (Roger) Burrows of Grand Junction, Marian (Mike) Sisson of South Haven; brother, Bill (Marcia) Long of Grand Junction; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Emmigene Long in 2018; son, Ken Long in 1982; sister, Carol Holtsclaw, and a brother, Ted Long. The family will meet friends 11 AM until 1 PM Thursday, April 25, 2019 at the Bangor Chapel, D. L. Miller Funeral Home where the funeral service will be 1:00 PM with Pastor Dan Spicer officiating.
