Laymon, Robert 8/28/1976 - 12/17/2017 Kalamazoo Robert Glenn Laymon, 41, of Kalamazoo MI passed away Sunday December 17th, 2017 at his home surrounded by family after battling a long battle with lung cancer. Rob was an amazing person who enjoyed life with a wonderful sense of humor. Rob turned friends into family while giving much of himself to others. Rob loved fishing in Baldwin, frisbee golfing with friends, camping, adventure, being with his family and his crazy pit bulls. Robs career in entertainment allowed him to travel all over while getting a back stage seat to the best concerts. Rob is survived by his (wife) Christy Schmidt and two children Nicholas and Carli. His mother Victoria Fales (Tom Keyzer) , his father Tony Laymon (mom type person Deanna Laymon). Robs two sisters Danielle Fales, Kari ( Jeff) Hawes and his nephew and niece Ayden and Aysha Abbott. His three brothers Don, Ron (Lindsey) and Clinton O'Roarke. His grandmother Jean Robinson. Along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Services will be held at Threads Church (2031 E. Cork St Kalamazoo) on January 6th, 2018. A luncheon will be held on Sunday January 7th, 2018 at EastWood House of Recovery (2049 E Michigan Ave Kalamazoo) Donations maybe made In Care Of Christy Schmidt at EastWood House of Recovery.
