Robert Carson

Robert Eugene Carson, age 53, of Decatur, MI passed away on Monday, October 2, 2017 at Bronson Methodist Hospital, Kalamazoo. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1 PM on Sunday, October 8, 2017 at the VFW Post 6248, Decatur, MI. Memorial contributions may be made to the family to help with final expenses. Bob was born on August 18, 1964 in South Bend, IN. He attended Decatur High School. On May 13, 1989 he married the love of his life, Kimberly Southworth. Bob was a butcher at Gary's Custom Meats in Union, MI for twelve years. He was a member of the Little Traverse Bay Bands of Odawa Indians. Bob was an Avid Michigan fan, enjoyed golfing, camping, watching football and NASCAR. He liked to have fun and make people laugh. Bob was extremely proud of his two children, Marty and Carly and most of all, he loved spending time with his family. Bob is survived by his wife of 28 years, Kimberly; children, Marty Carson and Carly Carson; siblings, Marty (Jill) Carson, Toni (Terry) Kropp, Marianne Carson, Susan Conway, Michelle Carson and Charles (Melissa) Carson and beloved miniature Schnauzer, Bella. He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Carson; mother, Joyce Beebe and step-father, Merle Beebe. Clark Chapel and Cremation Services
